Refund Policy

Loom Festival is an over 17 event. Any tickets purchased by anyone under that age are neither valid nor eligible for a refund. Once the ticket has been bought, it will only be changed or refunded in the case of cancellation.

The event will only be considered to have been cancelled in the eventuality of a Government ban. In that case, the purchaser can apply for a refund in a period no longer than thirty days from the date of the public announcement of the cancellation.

While every effort is made to ensure that all billed acts perform, Loom Festival reserves the right to change the bill without prior notification.

Bad weather & natural disasters will not lead to ticket refunds.

The purchase of a ticket for Loom Festival is for the event itself and not for a specific artist and no refund will be offered in the event of artist cancellations.

Section 1 – Agreement

  1. These general terms and conditions apply between Loom Festival, and a person (the “Buyer”) who has purchased an admission ticket (“Event Ticket”) for an event held by the Organiser (the “Event”) and each person who attends the Event (the “Visitor”).
  2.  Following the purchase and attendance of the event, the agreement arises between the holder of the Event Ticket or the Visitor on the one hand and the Organiser on the other hand, to which these terms apply.

 

Section 2 – Event Ticket

  1. The purchase of a ticket for Loom Festival is for the event itself and not for a specific artist and no refund will be offered in the event of artist cancellations.
  2. Loom Festival tickets are not refundable under normal operating circumstances. Refunds will only be possible in the eventuality of a government ban on events due to Covid-19.
  3. Loom Festival is an over 17 event. Any tickets purchased by anyone under that age are neither valid nor eligible for a refund. Once the ticket has been bought, it will only be changed or refunded in the case of cancellation.
  4. Tickets may only be purchased through 3rd parties authorized to sell on the event’s behalf. This operation is the responsibility of https://tickets.io/.

 

Section 3 – Admission to the Event

  1. By attending the Event, each Visitor explicitly agrees to these Terms.
  2. Loom Festival is an over 17 event. Only persons over the age of 17 will be admitted to the event.
  3. The right to admission to Loom Festival is reserved by the promoter and venue, who may take health and safety, environmental and security concerns into account at their reasonable discretion, and may from time to time carry out security searches. Loom Festival operates a zero-tolerance policy toward illegal substances.
  4. You may be asked to produce identification documentation, to verify your age.
  5. The admission ticket gives the holder the right to attend the Event. Access is given only to the first holder of the admission ticket scanned at the entrance of the Event. Loom Festival is not obliged to perform any further verification of valid admission tickets.
  6. No refunds will be offered to customers who are refused entry or ejected from the venue on account of being (or appearing to be) under the age of 17, declining to be searched, abusive, threatening, drunken or disorderly.
  7. It is prohibited to bring glass containers of any sort, canisters, plastic bottles, PET bottles, cans and/or other drinks containers, one’s own food, hard packaging, cooler bags, other heavy containers, flambeaus, pyrotechnical objects, weapons of any sort or any other dangerous objects onto the event site.
  8. Opening Party Conditions
    • The venue is subject to change, this depends on necessary permits and approvals by governing authorities. We have no control and cannot guarantee the venue as promoted in our marketing material. We will have backup venues prepared for this eventuality. The show will go on as billed.
  9. Boat Party Conditions
    • The boat party schedule may be delayed depending on weather conditions. The boat party is also subject to cancellation should the boat captain deem the weather conditions as unsafe. In this case the party will be held at a backup venue, with the same line-up as billed originally.
  10. A security control shall take place at the entry gate.

 

Section 4 – Force Majeure

  1. If an Event cannot take place on the planned date and location as a result of circumstances beyond the control of the Organiser, this is regarded as force majeure
    1. Pandemic (Refunds in case of Covid-19 postponement or cancellation are in deviation of this clause)
    2. Non-issuance of permits by authorities
    3. Terrorism threats
    4. Strikes
    5. Fires
    6. Floods
    7. Bad weather
  2. The event will only be considered to have been cancelled in the eventuality of a Government ban. In that case, the purchaser can apply for a refund in a period no longer than thirty days from the date of the public announcement of the cancellation.
  3. Bad weather & natural disasters will not lead to ticket refunds. You may want to purchase ticket insurance offered by Refund Protect.
  4. The Organiser is entitled to reschedule an Event if this Event cannot take place due to force majeure.

Important Notice: Due to the ongoing issues with the Covid-19 pandemic, our policy on this is to give our customers the option to keep the ticket for next year’s edition or apply for a refund, in the eventuality of a Government ban which would mean the festival is cancelled for that reason.

 

Section 5 – Rights of the organiser

  1. While every effort is made to ensure that all billed acts perform, Loom Festival reserves the right to change the bill without prior notification.
  2. The Organiser reserves the right to deny the Visitor access.
  3. Organisers are entitled to make (or have made) video and/or audio recordings of the Event and to use these images for promotional purposes, with no obligation of compensation to the persons appearing.

 

Section 6 – Liability of the organiser

  1. Attendance at the event is therefore at your own risk.
  2. Any liability of the promoter for damage to hearing or health that may occur due to lack of precautions is therefore excluded, unless the promoter acts with gross negligence or intent.
  3. If attendees park their vehicle on the festival site, this shall be at their own risk. We accept no liability for any damage or theft, unless it can be charged with intent or gross negligence.
  4. We shall not be liable for lost or stolen items.

Section 7 – General

  1. Attendees are aware that music festivals represent an environment with a high noise level. We shall take the necessary precautions to prevent lasting damage to hearing or health. Nonetheless, attendees are urgently advised to use earplugs to protect them against any damage to hearing or health.
  2. It is prohibited to bring glass containers of any sort, canisters, plastic bottles, PET bottles, cans and/or other drinks containers, one’s own food, hard packaging, cooler bags, other heavy containers, flambeaus, pyrotechnical objects, weapons of any sort or any other dangerous objects onto the event site. The security service shall be instructed to carry out a body search.
  3. Drink tokens are only valid for the specific event you have attended. Drink tokens are not refundable.

 

Section 8 – Refund protection Insurance

  1. Booking insurance is offered by Booking Protect. This means that https://tickets.io/ or Loom Festival cannot exercise any influence over an insurance policy that has been taken out with Booking Protect.
  2. Refund Protection provides a refund if a customer is unable to attend due to a number of circumstances as defined in the Terms and Conditions.
  3. Booking Protect doesn’t have any information about an order that is placed by https://tickets.io/. They can only help you if you purchased insurance with your tickets.
  4. It is not possible to take out booking insurance after an order has been placed. Insurance can only be purchased for some events when ordering.
  5. Questions regarding the Refund protection can be directed at Booking Protect.
  6. Please fill in and submit your refund application form as soon as you are aware that you will not be able to attend the event according to the circumstances defined in the Terms and Conditions of Booking Protect.

 

FAQs – Covid-19

  • If the event is cancelled due to a Government Ban, am I eligible for a ticket refund?
    • In case of a government ban leading to Loom Festival 2021 being cancelled, you will have the option to keep the ticket for next year’s edition or get a refund of all your tickets (Face value only).
  • I saved my ticket from 2021, what will happen if 2022 is cancelled?
    • You will have the option to keep the ticket once again, or get a refund of all your tickets (Face value only).
  • Travel is possible and the festival is going on as scheduled, however I do not feel safe.
    • The festival will only be held if it is deemed safe by the authorities. We will do our utmost and make decisions in the best interest of everyone at the festival. The health and safety of our fans, artists and crew is paramount. In this case you are not entitled for a refund
  • Travel is possible, however I’m required to quarantine due to travel restrictions.
    • Travel rules and restrictions may change throughout the course of the pandemic. If an imposed quarantine of 14 days is required, we will offer you a refund.

Refund Guarantee

If the event cannot take place on 25 September 2021 due to Covid-19, we will provide you with a refund of the ticket price (Face value only), within 4 weeks after official cancellation of our event(s). Only tickets purchased through our authorised resellers (https://tickets.io/) will be entitled for a refund.

You’re entitled to a refund in the following conditions:

  • The festival is cancelled or postponed to a date which does not suit you.
    •  You test positive for Covid-19 within a 14 day period prior to the festival.
    •  Travel restriction imposed by your country of residence or government of Germany.
